Legit, Suspicious or Scam PTC Sites ?

As you've already noticed, I split PTC sites in 4 categories:  legit, new, suspicious and scam PTCs.

I consider:
  1. legit PTC sites are those sites that do pay, pay on time and are online for more than 6 months. A must for a PTC is to have a forum, so members can get support from admin and other members, and can share their experiences with the other members of the site. An exception is Clixsense but its good reputation has been established for a long time.
  2. new PTC sites are those sites that do pay, pay on time but have been online for less than 6 months.
  3. suspicious PTC sites are those sites that encounter one or more of the following statements:
    • contradictions on what it's written on FAQ, TOS, Upgrade Account page, Home page, etc;
    • in TOS it is written - "We have the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason (!!!!) and without warning or notice.";
    • the request of the PayPal and /or AlertPay (or other payment processors) email on the registration page;
    • non-payment periods from various reasons - we cannot know how real the reasons are;
    • investment request in order to be able to cash out. Take care! - there are PTC sites that penalize if you request payout without fulfilling their conditions;
    • withdrawal fee is more than 10% of the payout request;
    • the site uses its own currency and not a real one;
    • the pay per click value is too high;
    • the pay per click value changes in time;
    • the minimum payment changes in time;
    • the owner pays only some of the members;
    • members are paid not their total request but a just a percentage;
    • admin's long absence on forum;
    • when you want to post one message on forum and get the message that your post has to be approved by the admin / moderator;
    • the message you have written in forum is deleted.
  4. scam PTC sites are those sites that encounter one or more of the following statements:
    • they do not pay;
    • disappearance of all persons responsible for the site (owner, admin, forum moderators, etc.)

How To Choose A PTC Site

Of course we won’t get rich over the night, but we really can get money with PTC’s, using them consistently and wisely.

There are a few important rules that have to be taken into consideration for getting money with PTC’s and not wasting our time and money. Don’t forget even one second that there are legit PTC’s and scams. We have to make the difference between legit and scams and we can do it pretty simple. Also, we have to keep in mind a legit PTC can become a scam (gagabux) but almost always there are signs (1dollarnoads) … we have just to keep our eyes open and notice them. It’s right; there are PTC’s that have disappeared over the night – Starnaute, moneycliker, itaptc, and so on. It will always be a risk. Let’s try to keep it at low level!

How to choose a PTC site:

- Read attentively:

  • Home page - the more information the PTC’s give on their home page, the more we can trust them
  • FAQ page
  • TOS (Terms of Use)
  • Forum (most of the PTC sites have forums)
 If the content is not clear and/or contains contradictions, it’s a reason for thinking if to join or not.

 If you have to invest in a PTC for being able to request payout, it’s another reason for thinking if to join or not. My advice is not to join such a site. It’s like we pay them for having money to pay us.

 - Search the internet for finding out if the PTC site is legit or not.

 Take care if you find a PTC saying it pays more than $0.02/click! One of the exceptions is Clixsense where you might get up to $0.05. Just take a look!

After joining a PTC site:

- Don’t forget to read, from time to time, the info posted on Home page, FAQ and TOS. Most of the PTC’s change their TOS without a notice. As an example, STEALbux has added only one paragraph, but very important, saying you have to invest in their site for getting cash out

- Read all the messages you get from Message Center

- Keep an eye on the messages posted on Forum

If
  • there are days in a row without ads to be seen or it appears a message saying you can no more cash out without investing (QBCBux), it’s an alert sign!
  • it changes its currency (Zpc Bux), it’s an alert sign!
  • PayPal blocks its account (1dollarnoads), it’s an alert sign!

What you have to do for getting money with a PTC:

  • Click an advertisement and view the website for a limited time
  • Click the number that appears to get paid.
You can click ads once every 24 hours. Clicks automatically reset at 00:00 (server time).

What is a PTC Site (PTC)?

PTC stands for "Pay To Click" and is a site that pays its members for seeing advertisements (ads).
How does it work and how can you get money from this? Very simple!
  • First, you have to register on the site. Registration is free.
  • Then, once registered, you have to login, click the ads and see them for a period of time between 15 and 30 seconds. The number of ads is usually less than 20 a day. For each ad you see, the site pays you between $0,001 and $0,01, as a free members. If you upgrade, you can get more, up to $0,05.
Now it comes the question: why should I bother to see ads for a few cents a day? The answer is: because a PTC site usually offers more possibilities to get money:
  1. Once registered, you'll get a special link (referral link) that you can promote. Any user that registers using your referral link will be your referral and you get between $0,001 and $0,01 for each ad your referral sees. If you are an upgrated member, you get more.
  2. Some PTCs pay commissions on referrals' signups and upgrades also if you are a free member.
  3. Almost all  PTC sites give you the possibility to rent referrals, so you get more money from your rented referrals' clicks. Think how much you may earn if you rent 100 referrals for a month and each of them sees at least 2 ads daily. If you get $0,01 for each referral's click, you get at least $60 per month without doing anything. Has this gotten your attention? I bet it has.
 In my blog I intend to share with you my experience  about PTCs: how to choose a PTC site, how to avoid scam PTCs and how to earn money from a PTC.

Using PTC sites is one of many other ways to earn money on the Internet. How much you can earn depends on how many PTC sites you use, how good they are, and how organized you are.
But, before you start, you should be aware of the following true facts (that many times are not said):
  • In Internet, as in any other business, you cannot earn much money if you do not invest. This is a simple rule: $0 investment will bring you small profit, egal what you do. The advantage of the Internet is that you can invest small amounts and still get important profit.
  • Any Internet business IS a business like any other. This means, you have to organize it, make some plans and calculate the time and money you need to get the profit you want.
  • Like in any other business, having profit from Internet doesn't happen overnight.
  • In Internet, there are many scam programs, that promise you thousands of dollars in couple of hours if you make an one-time payment of $40 - $50. The result: the scam author DOES earn some money, while you EARN ..... experience.
In my next articles, I will show you some insides from using PTC sites. Also, I will keep updated the lists of legit, scam, new and suspicious PTCs. These lists express my experiences I have had with those PTCs.
